It Takes A Village is a networking event that ​​brings together the entrepreneurial community of Namibia. At each event, an expert is interviewed for their unique contribution to the community. Entrepreneurs range from design thinkers, coffee roasters, kelp farmers and financial literacy organizations.

 

At these events, I provide the service of graphic recording to capture key moments and visually portray the interview experience. It Takes A Village posts the finished 5-page pieces as supplementary communication tool of takeaways that spreads awareness and marketable reach of the event to interested members of the community.

 

For these events, I like to come ready with audio files, preparatory portraits and concentration to capture everything with pencil and paper as I go. I transfer the files digitally when I am back in my office. Since the information is dense, it usually takes 3-4 days to consolidate the information into a useful and well-researched educational tool.
